From the moment that you walk into the beautiful marble entrance of this in 1890 constructed building, you will be completely captivated.

This fantastic apartment has light parquet flooring throughout; the quality of the furnishings and tasteful decoration give the apartment a wonderfully modern and elegant look… it has been refurbished to a high of standards and this is very apparent as you walk in the front door.

The living room comes with a comfortable sofa and 2 armchairs. This is the perfect spot to sit back in and relax; TV, DVD, all the appliances are top notch making this a luxurious apartment. The sofa can be converted into a comfortable double bed for the 3rd and 4th guest in one easy movement. The spacious private terrace with table and chairs for 4 people plus 2 sun chairs are reachable from the living room. Orientation is south, perfect for sun-hungry travelers. Even during sunny winter days, this terrace is a plus as pretty much covered from the wind.

There is also a dining table inside the apartment which appears to be a desk to work on but can be easily converted and offers space for 4 guests to enjoy a meal.

The main bedroom comes with a double bed and ample wardrobe space. This bedroom also has an en-suite bathroom tastefully done in marble with bath/shower and fresh towels, soap and shampoo ready for use on arrival.

Kitchen: The fully equipped and modern kitchen offers everything necessary in case guests wish to prepare a meal. All appliances are top brands. At the guest’s disposal are an induction stove, oven, coffee maker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, toaster, etc.

The apartment is located on the 6th floor of this elegant building and gets reached by using the glass elevator. The building’s community is quiet and there is a very friendly doorman at the entrance. We guaranty that our guests will have a very pleasant stay here.

***** Marcel’s place was a fantastic find. It features a gorgeous, quiet terrace, and comfortable living space and amenities. The apartment is as pictured. It was surprisingly quiet and peaceful given the building is in the center of the action. The inside though, is serene and quiet. The neighborhood offers many conveniences

***** My stay at Marcel’s place was great. I liked that someone was there to meet me when I arrived and show me around the apartment. It was clean, comfortable, and located in a great part of town.

***** The unit is beautiful. The terrace is what sold us as well as the location! Perfect place when staying in Barcelona. Hopefully won’t be the last time we stay here. Marcel personally gave us a tour and was a great host all in all.

***** This place or apartment of Marcel is a very good one. It’s clean. It has coffee there that you need when you wake up and you are a coffee person. There are so many restaurants and places to shop on the moment you step out of the building. There is a SABA parking just accross the steet in case you have a car. Communicating with Marcel is also veru easy, he responds all the time. I highly reommend this place when in Barcelona.

***** We had a great stay! The location was perfect and Marcel was a wonderful host. He was very responsive and had helpful videos to show how to use different amenities. The bed and sofa bed were not that comfy, but we discovered the extra cushion towards the end of our stay. Overall, we loved the location and appreciated the AC during the hot summer. He also arranged an airport transfer for us, which was helpful and stress-free.

***** The stay at Marcel’s was great. The location, easy access to public transportation, shopping and restaurants made our stay in Barcelona an enjoyable experience. The apartment and its amenities (laundry + dryer🙏🏾) came in handy. And the beautiful wrap-around veranda was perfect for unwinding after a busy day walking the city. ***** Marcel’s apartment is right in the heart of town. Just a few blocks from one of Guadi’s homes.

***** Marcel’s apartment is conveniently located to all the major attractions! It is located on a major street but it is still quiet for a city apartment!

***** This is a beautiful roomy apartment central to everything. Marcel was extremely informative prior to our arrival and responsive to all of our enquiries. It’s not cheap but you pay for what you get in Barcelona. It was great to stay in our own place after a series of hotels.

***** From our initial booking, Marcel handled everything personally and efficiently. Fantastic communication leading to our trip, right through to check out earlier today.
Very quick to resolve any issues we had and at absolutely no inconvenience to us.
We loved our stay.
Our only recommendations for anyone else staying in this area would be not to use the local 24hr convenience stores as they ripped us off twice (the staff deliberately don’t label their stock, so they charge whatever they like).
Obviously this doesn’t change the fact that we stayed in an amazing apartment.

***** I have stayed in a few Airbnb’s and this was by far the best experience. The property is perfectly located, the interior and specifications of the apartment’s facilities was first class. Indeed it is a showcase. Marcel was incredibly helpful and immediate in contact with any need. This is the place in Barcelona.

***** Marcel was an excellent host, and the apartment is conveniently located in the heart of the city, with quick access to many amazing restaurants and things to do! The hop on/hop off bus stop is less than a 3 minute walk from the apartment, making it extremely convenient to sight-see around the city. Thank you Marcel!

***** This is a very nice one-bedroom apartment, very peaceful, with lots of natural light. We stayed for 2 weeks, and everything was great. But the best thing about this apartment is the location. It’s in a beautiful neighborhood. There is a Metro stop right outside the front door, and directly across the street you can catch the #24 bus with takes you to Park Guell. It’s on a beautiful tree-lined street with wide sidewalks that are great for just strolling, which we did a lot. Two blocks up the street is the Block of Discord. Two blocks the other way is the Gothic Quarter. Right around the corner is a tapas place with the best food we had in our two weeks. One block over is Rambla de Catalunya, with is a thousand times nicer that the other “Rambla” that all the tourists and pickpockets inhabit. A block and a half away is a very large grocery store in Corte de Ingles department store. I really enjoyed this place. I wish I could have stayed another month.

***** We had a great stay at Marcel’s place! It is spacious, very clean, and best of all is perfectly located immediately above a metro stop with multiple lines. Further, the location is also extremely central and walkable to all the major sights. We enjoyed the large terrace and the in-unit washer and dryer. Finally, Marcel is a great host and very responsive. Check-in and check-out were easy and Marcel helped us schedule airport transfers. Highly recommend for a stay in Barcelona!
