DESCRIPTION

Spacious, fully equipped, high-quality apartment in prime location in the inner city center directly on Paseo de Gracia only 200 meters from Plaza de Catalunya with Metro station right in front of the building. The location could not be any more convenient. Almost all important sights can be reached within a short walk and we have some of the best tapas restaurants literally around the corner. Ciudad Condal, El Nacional and El Lateral are my favorites and are all with 1-2 blocks from the rental.

This spacious apartment offers 3 bedrooms. The first bedroom comes with a double bed and a huge wardrobe. The second bedroom offers 2 single beds (which easily can be pushed together as a double bed), a big cupboard and a spacious en suite bathroom with bathtub/ shower. The third bedroom is a single room and comes with a desk, a single bed and a big cupboard. Right next to this bedroom is the second bathroom situated which is accessible from the long hallway. The living room of this apartment is large, faces Passeig de Gracia and even has a balcony from where the visitor can overview the avenue down to Placa de Catalunya; the main square. Furtheron the living room is equipped with two comfortable sofas which point at a big Plasma TV as well as 2 armchairs. One of the sofas converts in one easy movement into a comfortable double bed. Also in the living room, there is a desk with chair which comes in handy in case some work needs to be done. A red leather designer chair in the corner is there for kicking back and reading. There is also a big dining table for 6 people (and an extra chair for the 7th person).

Kitchen: The fully equipped and modern kitchen offers everything necessary in case guests wish to prepare a meal. All appliances are top brands. At the guests, disposal are an induction stove, oven, coffee maker, fridge, freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, microwave, toaster, etc.

The apartment is located on the third floor with an elevator. The buildings community is quiet and there is a very friendly doorman at the entrance. We guaranty that our guests will have a very pleasant stay here.

***** This was a great stay for so many reasons: spacious, clean, comfortable apartment; excellent location for exploring the heart of Barcelona; the host was WONDERFUL, we arrived later than expected and were so tired and hot from the trip, the host was welcoming and the apartment cool literally and figuratively. Marcel also arranged a taxi for us to go to the airport on departure. Gracias Marcel! This was maybe my favorite accommodation out of nine on our trip. Reserve!

***** The apartment has an excellent location next to the subway with many walkable restaurants nearby.
The space was perfect for our family of 5 and the host was very accommodating. He allowed us to store our luggage, was flexible with check in and arranged a taxi back to the airport.

***** Lovely apartment in a perfect location. Comfortable, spacious and equipped with everything you could need. Marcel was extremely responsive and helpful. The air conditioning worked very well in all rooms, easy access to the apartment via stairs or elevator, and central to all the best areas of the city.

Only one minor complaint is that you hear a fair amount of noise from the street, which is probably expected due to the location.

***** Marcel’s place was really great. Spacious, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay right in the middle of where you’d want to be as a first time visitor to the city. Close to sights, shopping, transportation and with a balcony and a view to boot. It was really great.
Beyond that Marcel provided an extremely detailed and thoughtful guide with notes about the unit and neighborhood recommendations. He was always quick to respond to questions. I almost couldn’t wish for a better experience.
